French Toast

4 eggs
sliced bread
1/2 litre milk
1 pinch nutmeg
salt and pepper
1 oz maple syrup

Break eggs into a bowl
Add milk and all other ingredients
Generously coat bread in butter
Soak bread with mixture until soft in the middle
Fry until golden brown about 4 minutes

Pancakes

1 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
1 tbp sugar
3 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
1 beaten egg
1 1/3 cup of milk
1/4 cup sunflower oil
1 tsp vanilla extract

mix all dry ingredients together
in a seperate bowl mix the egg and the milk then add to the dry ingredients
then add the oil and the vanilla and mix together
let it rest for a minute
put a spoonful on a hot grill and cook until golden brown
then flip or turn over and cook on the other side
serve with maple syrup or lemon juice and sugar
