specials....

Mmmmmmm!
Each morning we offer a extra choice for breakfast, that varies as provisions and seasons dictate, for example:

OOE Perch Benedict: our original and signature take on the classic - a thick slice of toasted, home-baked artisan bread, topped on one end with a local, free range poached egg and resting on the other, a filet of fresh Wheatley yellow perch, egg'd & crumb'd, then lightly fried... both crowned with homemade lemon hollandaise sauce. And just to be sure, another filet on the side.

Omelettes: smoked salmon, chive cream cheese and baby spinach, or, mild Italian sausage, mozzarella and sauteed onions and bell peppers, or, maple-baked peameal bacon, Canadian cheddar cheese and sauteed onions and mushrooms.

Also out of the breakfast hat will come tortillas and frittatas, personal breakfast casseroles and egg bakes, freshly-baked artisan bread, spanakaterapitas and other great day starters.

Can I get a 'Yum'?

cooked breakfasts...

Traditional: one or two eggs, cooked as you like, our current offering of either bacon, ham, sausage or our delicious slow-baked maple peameal bacon, plus garlic rosemary roasted potatoes, savoury broiled tomatoes and toast.

Artisan Bread French Toast & Maple Syrup: slices of homemade artisan bread, soaked in a seasoned cream, Mayan vanilla and egg mixture, topped with Giffin's pure maple syrup and accompanied by either bacon, ham, sausage or maple-baked peameal bacon and savoury broiled tomatoes.

starters.. and other choices.....

Each morning we start off your day with a choice of freshly-baked breakfast breads: muffins, breads, coffee cakes.... seasonal and imported fruits, and a choice of juices are on the buffet...

We grind and brew premium coffee each morning and can do a freshly-ground decaf french press. On offer are a wide variety of loose and bagged teas for a true brew-up.

I make all our jams, presenting scrumptious choices each morning: cherry cherry whiskey, lavender peach, Mayan vanilla raspberry, strawberry 'margorita', blueberry almond, vanilla bean strawberry, old fashioned rhubarb.

If you prefer a quicker breakfast, we have healthy cereals, yoghurts, granola, honey......

We 'locavore' as much as possible, buying our breakfast meats, free-range eggs, honey, maple syrup, vegetables, fruit and fish from near sources.

For our guests planning an early start to a busy day, we can offer a substantial continental breakfast - juice, coffee or tea, a grilled breakfast sandwich, muffin or other breakfast bread, yoghurt cup, fruit... bagged and lidded up, and to go if you prefer.

Mmmmmmm!
When booking, please let us know any allergies, restrictions or preferences. We can accommodate most requests, including gluten-free (years of experience, as one of our children was diagnosed as celiac 25 years ago), vegan and vegetarian.

With our beautiful summer mornings, a delightful possibility would be to keep our options open for breakfast on the breakwall patio..... what a unique, peaceful and delicious way to start the day.
